SOS 2007

Hey Margo,
Joe usually has a laptop, and James has a GPS with all the red light locations in Louisville, If you want, I will bring an extra pistol for you, Brian already has dibs on a .455 Webley, but as mine is converted to .45 ACP I could supply you with a Colt M1917 as they use the same ammunition and Brian could carry the spare ammo for you with out worry of grabbing the wrong cartridges in an exciting moment.
Best wishes
Gus

That is the plan Jerry. I have to think of design and type of shirt. I kind of liked those but may do a golf shirt. We will get to it eventually. Our annual party is tomorrow and we will have ~~130 folks here so I'm running in circles today!

I am trying to apply some scope to the problem of the T-shirts. How many people are going to SOS 07? How many shirts should I make? They all have to be the same size or at most two sizes so I'm planning on XL and XXL. If you are attending SOS 07 and want a T-shirt please let me know. Negative responses are appreciated. If you have any good ideas in this area please let me know. As it stands now I think Friday will be shirt wearing day again. Any and all comments are appreciated. One of the major advantages I saw last year was that a pickelhaubes member could be spotted far away in the convention center based on the color of the shirt. 1600 tables represent a large amount of square feet. Two different shirts? If I forgot any one's name, put you in the wrong category, or overlooked your wife coming, please except my apologies in advance. I'm not as smart as some. I am not trying to offend anyone just count shirts. Gus I thought about low-cut shirts but Janet would kill me. Plus let's face facts the girls are pretty just like they are.

Attending and want shirts. The X2 mark indicates one each for husband and wife. These are folks I think I know are attending.
Gus X2
Joe X2
Brian X2
Randy T.
Tony C.
James Leb X2
Jerry R.
Dave M.
Mark A.
Bill T. (Kaiser Bill)
George A.
Peter S.

We are sending shirts to these members regardless. If Paul was to come he would have to wear this shirt in prison. I don't think they let prisoners wear stylish clothing.

Thanks Michael Muth

Hey Michael,
I believe that SOS has been sold out for some months, but several of us have tables together, so there will be a place to leave you coats ans goodies you buy at the show. We made several dollars last year selling second hand coats at the show which went into the beer fund, and consumption of beer helped the members forget where they left their coats, so we did not get blamed for the loss of any coats. By the way, how did you get such a big avitar?

Best wishes
Gus

Ah great maybe I can use the table as a front to sell some items...with no charge to me!!!! I have no idea I put the adress in and followed the directions and it did it on its own, I feel as though I am breaking some rules with such a big pic. but I think the whole forum would agree that Seydlitz should have such an honored place in our forum.

the link to the website that has alot of great knotel prints is....

The sold out tables seem to have made our consortium "the place to be".
It looks like we will be joined by a German guy name Karsten who will be bringing eight to 10 helmets for sale.

Hey Joe,
Do you know any one at the Pentagon that could help get Paul a hardship furlough so he can get back in time for SOS? Although it would be nice to have his credit card with out him to oversee the use of it.
Gus

Let's get our priorities straight. What we rather have our friend :-? back home early or would we rather change the design on the back of the shirt? This Photoshop stuff is hard work. Now if he offered to buy in 07... he is after all a moderator... :-?

Sorry Joe, I did not realize that the graphics were the design for the back of the shirt, but that way they are not deductable are they? If Paul shows up this year, he could pay then too. After all, James is bringing his credit cards so we could pre pay our hotel rooms for next year and hope he does not cancel them. By the way, just what is Paul buying during SOS 2008? Is he buying helmets for all the members that show up? That would be a great membership drive tool. I have heard rumors that Paul has a Scubie Doo toung tatto.
Best wihses

I will stress it is a slim chance he will be back in February, most likely March.

FYI- Joe, I did not realize this was the t-shirt either, great stuff, and I apprecaite the nice thoughts for Paul!!!

Also, this new German guy probably has everything I ever wanted, so I get first dibs!!

There is one major incentive to get Paul back home soon. The desert has been very hard on Paul as can be seen by his recent command picture. At least he is still smiling...
