Wonderful piece of history, I found a Prussian EM belt buckle in the field just of the Second Div memorial at Pozieres, very much the worst for ware but what a find, something that had lay there in the ground since the battle raged in 1916. =D>

Wonderful things Sergi you are lucky to have access to these old battle fields, you bring the history alive by cleaning these items up and displaying them. those long dead boys would not mind.

Nice, I have three original 1st AIF tunics, all Australian made, one 8th Battalion , one 2nd Battalion and one 53rd Battalion. I agree they just are not around anymore, I bought mine in the early eighties in Sydney and Melbourne, to be honest I have seen none for offer since the eighties, WW2...
