    Looking for M1860 helmet components

Hello everyone, I am looking for 1 front visor, 2 rear visors, 2 visor trim and 2 rear spines for two M1860 Pickelhauben I am restoring. If anyone has these parts, please get in touch. The helmets deserve to be brought back from the dead! Respectfully, Karl B. :thumb up:

    Restoring an American Pickelhaube

I am awaiting this American Pickelhaube in the mail. It will obviously be quite a project but well worth the work no matter how long it takes. I wanted to ask if anyone has leads on parts for it. Maybe it is a long shot, but I figured this is the right place to ask!

    Model 1842 Officer's Pickelhaube - 9th Grenadier Regiment

Fellow Pickelhaube nuts, I have had to make the hard decision to let go of my M1842 Officer's helmet. I am thinking this is probably the first one offered for sale on this forum. I believe this piece dates to the 1850s, some time after the introduction of the 'Colberg 1807' bandeau to the 9th...

    M1857/60 Pickelhaube

So lately, I've gotten an itch for older Pickelhauben and have gained two examples, an M1842 and this M1857/60. May sound strange, but of the two this is my favorite. Just a classy helmet! I've seen some examples posted on here that were pretty poorly stored over the years and luckily... this...

CDV Image of Prussian Soldier - M1857 Pickelhaube?

So, I was at an antique store today and saw this CDV in a case. I do run across them from time-to-time and if the price is right, I will buy them. I looked up close at it to see if I could make out a Pickelhaube and to my surprise, I saw a very old pattern! The helmet in the photo appears to...

    Model 1842 Officer's Pickelhaube - 9th Grenadier Regiment

Hey all! So upon searching the forum, I have found that M1842s are very seldom posted, so I figured I'd share mine with you all. I would imagine this piece dates to the 1850s, some time after the introduction of the 'Colberg 1807' bandeau to the 9th Grenadier Regiment in 1849. No names or...

M1846 Hanoverian Garde du Corps helmet

This is a piece I recently picked up, thinking it was just an 1840s Kurassier helmet. I was curious though why it had an enlisted spike but an officer's style cruciform base, enlisted style chinscales and extra holes above the front visor. Looking online, I stumbled across a Hanoverian Garde du...

    Bavarian felt pickelhaube M1895

My latest find, just sitting there at an antique store I frequent! It was a very good price, but the icing on the cake was the 20% for the vendor. One I don't believe I could ever part with! The only issue I notice with it is that a previous owner re-affixed the liner with some glue, but at...

    Grenadier M95 Enlisted Pickelhaube

Gents, Several months ago, I had sold my Garde Landwehr EM M95 to Tony of Kaiser's Bunker to put money toward my wedding and it left a void in my collection and in my soul :-({|= . Well, I lucked out big time with this helmet yesterday! It is what I believe to be a Grenadier helmet, and it is...
