Well, at least the "big guys" were allowed to serve their country. In today's US Army, if you're over a certain weight limit, you're unfit for service.
Well, I tried fooling around with the photo, but I still can't make out what the arm band says. It has the crown and below that is an eagle and then there appears to be three lines of text, but I can't read them.
As I said on FaceBook, I don't see Crown Prince Rupprecht in this photo. There are some officers who look like him, but I don't think he's actually in there. :?
