A M71 Karabiner

Post by PICKELMAX » Thu Feb 04, 2016 6:51 pm

I'm really not an expert about firearms but I've got a M83 Reichsrevolver and since soon this Karabiner M71, issued in 1876, with the correct little ammo pounch (only 15 cartridges). The unit markings on the plate of butt seem to be for the 3thd Ulanen Regt. The pounch is for the IR.126, issued in 1888.

It's indeed a very nice karabiner. I like the looks of the m71 and the m88 karabiners.
